While the Macaw Rescue and Sanctuary is not open to the public, we do have "work parties" to help build new and maintain existing habitats for the birds.

Please use the "Contact Us" form (see menu, above) to let us know your availability, or if you have other skills you would like to offer.

Tell your friends! With such a small staff, we have limited resources to generate awareness of the need for ongoing support and appreciate any referrals to our site.

Get your organization involved or help our youth understand issues related to bird ownership by enabling them to develop a fundraising project for the sanctuary in their youth group or school's environmental awareness activity. Direct them to research other sanctuaries to understand what happens to birds when owners are no longer able to care for them and see efforts taken world-wide to address the situation. We will be happy to provide our logo and mission statement so they can develop brochures and posters to promote their efforts.

Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, school "field trips" and other eco-conscious and environmental groups are welcome to "Contact Us" (see menu, above) for interest and badge projects!.

Sometimes we have a live auction portion, but count on silent auction tables and a variety of unique craft, jewelry and other items. Stroll around the grounds and meet our beautiful and sometimes vocal residents!
